Instructions:

1. Prepare the Pea Puree

  • Blend the semi-boiled green peas into a smooth puree and set aside.

2. Sauté the Aromatics

  • Heat a pan on medium flame and add white butter.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.

3. Cook the Soup Base

  • Add the pureed peas to the pan and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, dissolve the sattu flour in 2 cups of water, ensuring there are no lumps.
  • Pour the sattu mixture into the pan and stir continuously.

4. Season and Simmer

  • Add black pepper powder, salt, and mix everything well.
  • Let the soup simmer for 5–7 minutes on medium flame, stirring occasionally.

5. Final Touch

  • Just before serving, add fresh lime juice for a tangy kick.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
