Instructions:

Cook the Dal and Nutri Nuggets:

    • In a pressure cooker, add soaked nutri nuggets, moong dal, turmeric, salt, and water.
    • Pressure cook for about 10 minutes or until the dal turns soft and the nutri nuggets are well-cooked.

Prepare the Baghar (Tempering):

    • Heat ghee in a small pan.
    • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
    • Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
    • Mix in chopped tomatoes, red chili powder (if using), coriander powder, and garam masala. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.

Combine & Serve:

    • Pour the prepared baghar into the cooked dal and nutri nuggets.
    • Stir well and let it simmer for a minute.
    • Serve hot with rice or chapati.
