Being a freelancer certainly has many upsides. 1. Fix your work hours and stick to them

Try to freeze the number of work hours in a day and accordingly pick up work. Figure out how much work you can actually successfully complete in a day and plan your day. It is often seen that when there is too much pressure due to deadlines, sleep timings go for a toss. This leads to midnight binge eating which again delays the sleep pattern. Please remember the money you're trying to earn by overloading yourself with work now will be spent in paying for the treatment of the disorders you develop by not keeping strict work timings and a disciplined outlook.

2. Limit caffeine intake to only 2 cups

Contrary to popular belief, have more tea or coffee will not make you more productive. The burst of energy you get crashes as fast as it rises which leads to untimely hunger pangs, mood disorders and triggers emotional craving for the most convenient junk food available.If you start having less caffeine and more fruit infused water or chaach or freshly squeezed juice, you'll feel much better and will be able to control binge eating.

3. Ditch the bean bags

Sit up straight and work on a table and chair. Avoid sitting on bean bags or lying down and working. The posture causes a lot of problems for your gut health, spine, and causes you to lose focus at work.

4. 30 minutes of exercise

Exercise or walk or run or swim or gym for atleast 30 mins everyday to keep your mind and body fresh and active. This is probably the only me-time you'll get which is very important for your mental health.

5. Home cooked food is the best

Try cooking more meals at home than ordering in. It puts you in control of what you're putting in your body and is 10x lighter on the pocket than eating out or ordering in. Incorporating hydrating fruits and salads with nuts will help your body be lighter and less lethargic , especially during the post lunch hours.
