Instructions:

Roasting the Spices:

    • Roast for 5 minutes, stirring continuously to release the aroma.

Grinding the Masala:

    • Remove from heat and allow the spices to cool.
    • Transfer to a grinder and grind into a fine powder.
    • Store the masala chai mix in an airtight container.

Making Masala Chai:

    • Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil.
    • Add 2 tsp of the prepared masala chai mix and simmer for 5 minutes.
    • Strain and serve hot. Add milk and sweetener as per preference.
