Instructions:

1. Heat the Oil 

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium flame.

2. Sauté the Spices

Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for about 10 seconds.

4. Add Garlic and Ginger 

Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for a minute.

5. Cook the Turnips

Add cubed turnips, water, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

6. Simmer

Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it cook for about 25 minutes until the turnips are soft. If needed, add more water to maintain consistency.

6. Serve

Enjoy hot with rice, roti, or as a side dish.
